I. Classical Painting Competition

A division for those who remain faithful to the traditions of the great masters. Here, academic mastery, depth of image, and impeccable technique are valued. The nominations cover the entire diversity of genres: from intimate landscapes and still lifes to multi-figure compositions, portraits, architectural motifs, depictions of animals and plants, the water element, as well as hyperrealistic, plein-air, symbolic, and textured interior works.

Nominations:

  1. Landscape — nature in all its states: from intimate sketches to epic panoramas.
  2. Urban Environment — architecture, streets, urban rhythms, and industrial motifs.
  3. Portrait — the human as the main protagonist: character, emotion, inner world.
  4. Still Life — the poetry of the object world: textures, light, composition.
  5. Narrative-Thematic Painting — storytelling, history, a captured moment.
  6. Animalistic Genre — animals and wildlife in their natural beauty.
  7. Botanical Painting — plants, flowers, gardens, nature up close.
  8. Water Space — seas, rivers, lakes, reflections, the element of water.
  9. Hyperrealism — the illusion of reality brought to photographic precision.
  10. Plein-Air Painting — working outdoors, light, air, the moment.
  11. Symbolism in Painting — an image carrying hidden meaning, metaphor, or allegory.
  12. Textured Painting — authorial surface, three-dimensional brushstroke, relief, tactility.

II. Avant-Garde Painting Competition

A space for the bold, decisive, and unconventional. Here, everything that breaks habitual frameworks and offers new forms, meanings, and languages of visual expression is welcomed. The nominations cover a wide spectrum of directions — from modernism, suprematism, futurism, and rayonism to neo-expressionism, pop art, conceptualism, surrealism, abstractionism, fantasy, visionary and naive art, esotericism, and interior avant-garde.

Nominations:

Classical Avant-Garde

  1. Avant-Garde — art that anticipates its time, rejects traditions, and blazes new trails in painting.
  2. Modernism — the search for new forms and expressive means, a break with academic canons in the name of freedom of self-expression.
  3. Suprematism — the pure art of geometric forms and color relationships, where meaning is born from simplicity and contrast.
  4. Futurism — the energy of movement, speed, technological progress, and the dynamics of the modern world, conveyed through painting.
  5. Rayonism — the depiction not of objects themselves, but of streams of light and reflected rays that form a visible image.
  6. Constructivism — art as engineering, where form is subordinated to function and composition is built on clear geometric structures.

    Post- and Neo-Directions

  7. Neo-Expressionism — a return to emotional, spontaneous, and often dramatic painting, where feeling is more important than harmony.
  8. Impressionism — the art of the moment, the play of light and color, the transmission of atmosphere and emotions through lively, vibrating brushstrokes.
  9. Pop Art — the art of the everyday, where the visual language of advertising, comics, and mass culture becomes an artistic statement.
  10. Conceptualism — painting in which idea and meaning are more important than the visual image, and the work becomes an intellectual gesture.
  11. Surrealism — the world of dreams, the subconscious, and the irrational, where reality intertwines with fantasy, giving birth to unexpected images.
  12. Abstractionism — the liberation of form from objecthood, where color, line, and stain become an independent language of art.

    Fantasy and Metaphysical Directions

  13. Fantasy Art — worlds created by imagination: from dark art to epic fantasy and horror, where reality gives way to fiction.
  14. Visionary Art — painting born from inner contemplation, spiritual experiences, and states of altered perception.
Esotericism and Mysticism — art turned toward the mysteries of being, sacred symbols, hidden meanings, and spiritual practices.
  15. Naive Art — a sincere, direct view of the world, free from academic rules, yet full of warmth and simplicity.

III. Abstract Painting Competition

A territory of pure forms, color, and emotions. Here, the artist is freed from the need to depict recognizable objects, turning directly to feeling, rhythm, and composition. The section includes nominations: abstract expressionism, geometric and conceptual abstraction, futuristic abstraction, and experimental forms, where the boundaries of the genre are constantly expanding.

Nominations:

  1. Geometric Abstraction — the purity of lines, forms, and color planes. Includes suprematism, neoplasticism, constructivism, and minimalist solutions.
  2. Abstract Expressionism — emotion, gesture, spontaneity. Here, feeling becomes form, and the brushstroke becomes the artist's voice.
  3. Conceptual Abstraction — idea, philosophy, social statement. Painting as an intellectual gesture, where meaning is primary.
  4. Futuristic and Techno-Abstraction — dynamics, speed, technologies, digital worlds. Art turned toward the future and new environments.
  5. Surrealist and Symbolic Abstraction — the world of the subconscious, dreams, and hidden signs. Images born on the edge of reality and fantasy.
  6. Orphic Abstraction — color and light as the basis of composition, musicality and rhythm of color consonances.
  7. Biomorphic Abstraction — forms inspired by living nature: organic lines, soft curves, hints of natural structures.
  8. Collage and Mixed Abstraction — experimentation with textures, materials, and techniques. A fusion of painting with appliqué, textures, and unexpected elements.
  9. Experimental Forms — everything that goes beyond habitual frameworks. New materials, non-standard approaches, and authorial discoveries.
